I talked very reputable company, and they will make headers for our cars.

They are kinda spendy, mainly because of the shipping price.

They are going to be a copy of the FIRST set of XERD headers.

Specs: Pipes are supplied as mandrel bent mild steel. The company does not use stainless steel due to the continual contraction / expansion process which causes the metal to crack over time.

I can check on prices to get them cermaic coated if you would like. You would pay shipping from DM to the Coater then to you.

Prices:
10-$675
15-$650
20-$625
25-$600

Prices do not include shipping. Shipping will be at our cost from Disturbing Motorsports to your front door.

Once the list hits 10 people, everyone will be PM'd and asked to send there money for the headers. 100% of the money is due before anything is ordered.
Paypal, credit card or money orders are welcome. If you would like to pay with paypal, we do ask you pay 3% for the paypal fees.

Prices (as far as I know) do not include gaskets.

Please keep this post clean of BS and if you do not have the money DO NOT POST.

I will be keeping this thread very clean.

We would be looking at a 9 week turn around time from the time RPW got a set of headers we send them. To the time the headers are made and on there way back.

The people in blue have pm'd me back and have money waiting.

So if it doesnt include gaskets; can we use the gaskets originally from the V6 or what?
Also who is the company that are going to make these headers?
So these headers will be direct bolt on or does it need to modify?

Yes.

RPW.

Direct bolt on.

As Scott said, these will be a copy of the first set of XERD headers made for our cars.

Any chance I can get just a downpipe/collector when these are made? I don't need the headers.

My XERD headers are starting to deteriorate.

BTW anyone w/ the original run of ceramic coated XERD headers, check the bend from the front bank for rust.

A "downpipe" will be included with the headers

You will get a front header, rear header, and downpipe/collector pipe - this replaces everything in front of the catalytic converter

It really depends on when the list gets high enough. But when there is at least ten people on the list, everyone will need to send in the payment in FULL.

We take Visa and Mastercard through the business.

We will also take money orders, PM me for address. I request that you put signature confirmation on it, again for the peace of mind.

Scott/Beth,

Are these going to be long tube headers or the short tube that XIR/XERD made? I notice on the other thread that the picture is of the 3g eclipse long tubes.

I would be willing to give up my short tube for long tube any day of the week.

I can't remember...Yes they do very good work.

The way it looks is nothing is going to happen.

Everyone wants them...So I spend hours getting someone to do it and then all the sudden no know wants them.

Deposit of 50% will be required, as Scott said - and also you need to be aware that my headers need to come OFF my car, be shipped overseas, have the new sets made, and those have to be shipped BACK to me - so we are looking at 2 months roughly. I hate the time frame, but it is the best we can do if you guys want headers.

Overseas? what is the shipping estimate going to be on these then? Not trying to scare people but what if we go through with the purcahse and then are paying almost as much as the item for all the shipping.

The shipping cost *to me* is already figured into the pricing.

Only extra charges are shipping to you, ceramic coating if you choose to get it, and 6% sales tax if you are in the state of Pennsylvania.

We need 10 confirmed buyers MINIMUM - so it is up to ASEC/ASOG/whatever -

I would prefer to get this done sooner than later, since I am taking my car apart for the headers, and I would like to have it for show season next year, instead of in my garage in peices....
