For Sale:
1995 Dodge Avenger 2.0
5 speed
185,000 miles
Runs great
Needs battery
Black
Grey interior
Probably needs rear brakes
Transmission shifts great but sometimes makes a loud noise that sounds like a bearing. Typically only at slower speeds. You can stop the noise by pulling the shifter towards reverse (but not into reverse) with the clutch depressed. I have never checked out this problem so that's all I can tell you.
No major dents, some small dings.
Small amount of surface rust by rear bumper.
Rockers have some rust.
Wipers work but do not return home when shut off. You must shut them off when down.
Tires legal but worn (even).
New upper and lower a arms.
Timing belt and water pump replaced around 100K for preventative maintenance.
Mobil1 since day one.
Covered with snow right now so no pics.
Interior probably much better than most 1995's.
Headliner loose.
Power windows (ok)
power locks (dead)
air/cruise/tilt (ok)
am/fm/cassette
original owner
original window sticker in trunk
can drive away after jump start
can't think of what else
location: near Toledo Ohio (Northwest Ohio)
$500 OBO

Im sure you heard the story surrounding this one the news a while back...

"HB 191 generally would increase the penalties for street racing and also imposes automatic license suspension and vehicle forfeiture."

Im not really comfortable with all this power afforded to an officer. MY car could get taken from me at any stoplight if someone decides to step on it and take off beside me...even if im just minding my own business! I'd thus be 'street racing'

"For example, a first-time street-racing offense, without any injury or death, would result in a $1,000 fine, maximum six-month prison term and a minimum one-year license suspension, and any vehicles involved in the race would be impounded."
