Northeast Dsm/Evo Meet May 1, 2010 in PA

Spotted this in the NE forum on Evolutionm....figured I would throw it out there for some PA folk who might be down to rep the ASEC....that is if they arent too intimidated by the EVO folk to join em!

Dajjiban

I suppose it's like any other wacky JDM style (i.e. shakotan, yanky, vanning-zoku, Dekotora, etc), but I think this one is tits and being its Dodge oriented....I just had to share...

It's been referred to as "Youga Base" style, "Hentai Vans", and a few other things, but apparently they just refer to their cars as "Dajjibans", or Dodge Vans. The Katakana to search for is "ダッジバン".

If anyone finds any new blogs, sites, or images related to the Dajjiban thing, post them in here (consider it a challenge, haha)


The Basics:
-Dodge Vans
-Lowering
-Deep dish low-offset wheels (often 6-lug RS Wats, but I've seen Diamonds and others)
-White lettered tires
-minimalist interiors (CF, racing wheels, not typical van stuff, lots of period American stickers, very eclectic)
-V8 performance mods

Again, people are probably going to hate this to death (I know a member in the motivational thread once shat all over this idea....not gonna mention names), but I thought it was something new and different...and heck...if I had a Dodge Van...I might be all over something like this!

My boss has a Dodge Van and I am actually pumped to show him this look (he's one of those weird van homos as it is, haha)

Well being that no new posts/threads have showed up lately in the NE...I figured I would post this to show we still alive....

Managed to snap some pics of my Venge and my buddies 3 series (which hes since sold of for a Jetta..) when we attended the Hartford Int Auto show...(see pic thread in Events forum)

I dont post many pics of my ride...matter of fact around this time last year was my last thread...either way this was prob my best "shoot" of the car all year...not the best of pics...
