Full Version: Going to the show? Not registered for the showfield yet?
ASEClub > General > Events - Shows - Meets > 2008 Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals
Stratuscaster
We placed a call to Carlisle Productions, to make sure that those going to the show were listed with the right group in order to be sure we maximize our presence there. We asked them to check under ASEC, Stratusphere, and Modern Mopars.

Registered under ASEC: 0
Registered under Stratusphere: 0
Registered under ModernMopars: 1 (thanks, Batman!)

It's less than a month to go, and ONE person was registered for the showfield.

Dave at Allpar.com spoke to me, and let me know that he was only TWO showfield registrations short of getting the small tent. We talked, and I offered to shift any and all showfield registrations to Allpar. (Thanks to Batman and the DMS crew!)

In exchange, I'm going to work with Dave & Allpar to get ASEC more involved over there in regards to providing information and such, as well as links from Allpar back to ASEC. (Allpar currently doesn't have a lot of focus on the A/S.)

So, if you find yourself going to the All-Chrysler show and either pre-register or register at the gate, please list ALLPAR as your club affiliation.

Questions? Ask.

PS: As an enticement, it's Allpar's 10th Anniversary and they'll have cake at their tent. ekk.gif

sorry guys. as stated i'm backing out this year. I tried to get the club more involved as you are trying, but i see that there is a lack of interest this year, atleast from my stand point.

Till next time.
Stratuscaster
Thanks for the effort you did put forth, tho. We appreciate it. toothy7.gif

(Interested in selling off your pre-registration?)

If you're still short, I'll try to drive up and register.
Stratuscaster
Allpar has their tent, but we'd still like to see you. icon_wink.gif

I saw that online registration had ended since the show is so close. So could I still register when I show up? I mean if they'res not alot of Avengers/Sebrings registered and ALLPAR would like more I'll do it. My car isn't exactly "show" material though ohnoes.gif Isn't it more expensive than the regular $10 entrance fee?
CPAguy53088
im not sure if its more expensive but i know u can register at the show

at the hotels i guess. i should be at the best western by like 4pm or earlier im shooting for. ill have my mazda 6 tho and not the venge. ill be going to hershey park on saturday while everyone is at the show icon_smile.gif

JP: i think the registration is like $50 or close to it.
Stratuscaster
$50 for "late" registrations. That's for all 3 days, for 2 adults. Gate price is $10 per day times 3 days times 2 people = $60 plus parking Lord knows where.

Doesn't matter if it's not show - hell, I'm there in the minivan.

Alright I'll do it then. I'd rather park on the field than in the masses. If you could make the arrangements with your friend at ALLPAR caster, go ahead... or I'll just register whenever I get there.

Cmon LxiMax... you register too ekk.gif

I shall lol. So what's the final cost? $60?
Stratuscaster
$50 to register. You can still register online, or do it at the gate. Or fax it in. http://www.carsatcarlisle.com

Just put "Allpar" as your club affiliation. I need to do nothing special on my end at all.

Allpar is doing an awards thing, too - it wouldn't be a bad idea to sign up on their forums and read up on what's happening either. http://www.allpar.com

If you don't have the requisite 25 people, you have to pay $125 for the tent. Between the contributions of DMS, Shadowhawk and myself, we covered the $125.
